BrilliANT edition of Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair opens its doors
ANTWERP, Belgium, January 29, 2017 – Retail buyers from across the world, as far afield as Japan and the Gulf Arab countries, flocked to the historic Antwerp diamond district as the BrilliANT trade fair opened its doors.

Leading natural diamond suppliers from Antwerp, as well as new exhibitors such as Venus Jewel from India, and diamond jewellery exhibitors showcasing their products for the first time, filled the narrow halls of the diamond bourses.
BrilliANT hosted a number of seminars, including a well-attended event led by World Diamond Mark on the first day of the fair addressing their international rollout to retailers and the recent signing up of multiple F Hinds in the UK.

Retailers and manufacturers from around the world were expected to order gems and jewellery during the show, which runs until January 31.
A Gala Dinner, gathering the elite of the Antwerp diamond community, was scheduled to take place in the diamond capital on the evening of January 29.
A highlight exhibit at the fair was the Coronet Diamond Guitar, coated with 400 carats of diamonds.
This showpiece, valued at USD$2 million, is a collaboration with the world’s largest jewellery retailer Chow Tai Fook Jewellery, music giant Gibson Brands, and renowned designer Mark Lui.
