Italian jewellers to have high profile at JCK
VICENZA, May 26, 2013 – Vicenza Fair will be the world ambassador of Made in Italy jewellery with the organisation of 130 Italian companies at the JCK Show in Las
Vegas, the number 1 jewellery show in the United States (31 May to 3 June.)
The American Show will be the setting for VICENZAORO Italian Club, Vicenza Fair’s travelling exhibition format that promotes gold and jewellery production.
From Friday, 31st May to Monday, 3rd June, 130 companies from the top italian gold production zones – Vicenza, Valenza, Arezzo, Naples, Marcianise and Torre del Greco and Milan – will be showcasing their creations in the exclusive setting of the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
Coordinated by Vicenza Fair, the companies will jointly represent Italy’s heritage of creativity, innovation, design and refined artistic manufacturing.
For the 2013 edition, VICENZAORO Italian Club will be consolidating its format with exhibition spaces enriched by designer furnishings, providing a touch of Italian style.
The Las Vegas Show will include an exhibition area, known as the Glamroom, specifically for ‘melting pot’ creations where noble and innovative materials blend into unique items and designs.
It will be located in a special open space at the centre of VICENZAORO Italian Club, where selected companies will be able to give free rein to their creativity and proudly promote Italian savoir faire internationally.
One of the main players at Las Vegas will be Ice Agenzia, which, in collaboration with Vicenza Fair, will be organising six parades called “Catwalk – Italian Jewellery on Trend” where Italian-produced jewellery, gold and fashion will be on stage.
Two parades have been scheduled on 31st May, 1st and 2nd June, with the press and local traders in attendance.
The catwalk will be flaunting the best and most representative items of 30 participating companies.
TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting, Fiera di Vicenza’s independent global forecasting centre that specialises in deciphering consumer behaviour, will host a programme of events and seminars at LUXURY@JCK, an elite event attended by the most exclusive international jewellery brands, scheduled to take place just prior to the JCK Show from 28th May to 3rd June at the Four Seasons/Mandalay Bay/The hotel in Las Vegas.
Emerging trends within the LUXURY event will provide companies, producers and designers with the chance to find inspiration for their collections and images in the seasons to come.
Paola De Luca, TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting’s Creative Director and International Forecaster, will be presenting the 4 moods selected to represent the 2014 season – Experimental Nature, Shadow Reality, Ethno Pop, Visionary Structures – at a Keynote Breakfast programmed for 28th May at 8.30 am at the Breakers and Elite Enclave Ballrooms on the second floor.
TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting will also be the official sponsor of the LUXURY Gala evening to be held on 30th May at 7.30 pm at Moorea, The Beach at Mandalay Bay.
Lastly, as a Media Partner, VICENZAORO Italian Club in Las Vegas will be accompanied by a special edition of the “Vioro America” magazine: 5,000 copies of VICENZAORO’s official magazine. Published in May, the magazine will be distributed during the JCK Show.
The “Scratch & Win!” initiative will also be making a comeback, in which all the buyers who register at the VICENZAORO Italian Club desk will have the chance to win a trip to Italy that will include a visit to one of Vicenza Fair’s VICENZAORO exhibitions.
