Jewellery & Watch confirms over 30 new brands for the Design Quarter

BIRMINGHAM, England, January 17, 2016 – Jewellery & Watch have announced over 30 completely new names confirmed for the Design Quarter in February 2016.
With the launch of British Born & Made, an all-new and beautifully curated area dedicated to showcasing the best of British jewellery design, the Design Quarter is set to showcase a strong desire for both ‘home grown’ and new collections at the show.
Harsh & Sweet

Harsh & Sweet

Among the confirmed line-up is Harsh & Sweet, who will be bringing their Stars and The Waves collection to the show. The Stars offers semi-precious stones suspended in coils of Sterling silver, while The Waves adopts the ever-changing shapes of water and turn them into contemporary jewellery. The ear cuffs of this collection are little dewdrops which envelope the earlobe.

Claire Troughton

Claire Troughton returns to Jewellery & Watch after a number of years’ absence with a rebrand to celebrate her 20th year in the industry. Specialising in bespoke wedding and engagement ring designs, she will be launching her ‘Forest Ferns’ jewellery collection in sterling silver with rose gold plating. Claire will also showcase her iconic ‘Bouquet’ ring collection, inspired by the gentle movement of water, complimented with 18ct gold and diamonds.

Kattri

Adding to the offering will be Kattri, presenting their new fine jewellery collection; Asymmetry. This collection features stunning white and lavender freshwater and black Tahitian Pearls set on 18ct yellow and rose gold, finished with diamonds. Inspiration taken from the Art Deco Movement, a touch of elegant style has been paired with modernism and architectural form to bring this beautiful new collection together.

Cornerstone Creations

Launching at Jewellery & Watch is British brand Cornerstone Creations, a stylish collection of classic wear-ability and contemporary flair. It is a jewellery range perfect for every occasion, varying from very commercial to stunning sculptural forms. Designer Paul Spurgeon runs The Cornerstone Creations Project in South Africa, based on empowerment through the dignity of work and a sense of belonging. Cornerstone’s heart is rooted in touching people’s lives through a spirit of collaboration and encouragement to better themselves and ultimately their community.
Offering buyers to Jewellery & Watch new and inspiring collections from the best of British and international designers, The Design Quarter will welcome a wealth of new names for 2016.
