Mappin & Webb refreshes brand with exquisite collections
LONDON, September 14, 2013 – Mappin & Webb, which has roots dating back to the 18th Century, is refreshing its brand with the launch of exquisite new fine jewellery and Solitaire collections.
A standout line is the Empress collection, with a flavour of royalty from the East from the Art Deco period with a contemporary twist.
Featuring white, brilliant-cut diamonds and colour sapphires and colour sapphires, retail prices of Empress jewels, stocked in Mappin & Webb stores, range from around 950 pounds, to 34,000 pounds for a bracelet with pink sapphires and white diamonds.
A magnificent piece on show at a special event hosted by Mappin & Webb in central London this month, was the unique Assam necklace featuring 33.86 carats of Gemfields emeralds and a total of 7.26 carats of diamonds, including a superb pear-shaped diamond of 1.49 carats at the back.
A new standout collection from Mappin & Web is Fitzrovia, inspired by High Society parties in London in the Art Deco 1920s period, and featuring opulent cocktail rings in vibrant aquamarine, pink tourmaline or tanzanite.
Mappin & Webb also presented a new collection of Solitaire diamond bridal and dress rings, each named after a rose, ranging from bold to simpler and classical designs to suit the personality of the wearer, and again featuring Art Deco influences in some pieces.
