The objectives of National Apprenticeship Week in March 2014 are to increase awareness, understanding and demand for Apprenticeships; celebrate Apprenticeship talent, skills, achievements and successes; promote all Apprenticeship levels and progression routes.
Apprenticeships are an excellent choice for those who do not want to go on to university but who want to earn while they learn.
More and more apprenticeship jobs are opening up in the jewellery industry.
The open day is aimed at careers advisors, schools, potential apprentices, parents and anyone else who would like to find out more.
Whoever would like to attend is more than welcome. It is an open event.
It is also be a perfect opportunity for people with varying levels of education and experience to come along and see the types of apprenticeships they can do as well as generally find out more about them and whether it is a route they want to take.
