Jewellery & Watch to Rebrand in Autumn 2020
BIRMINGHAM, February 2020 – Long-running trade event Jewellery & Watch will rebrand in 2020 to become Jewellery, Watch & Fashion (JWF), debuting at Autumn Fair 2020.
The new format show will incorporate exhibitors across jewellery, watches, accessories and fashion in a move that reflects market trends and the cross-buying opportunities professionals are demanding from both Spring Fair and Autumn Fair.
The integration of Jewellery & Watch with fashion sector exhibitors is currently under way at Spring Fair 2020, which is taking place at NEC, Birmingham until Thursday 6th February. The re-edited show floor and the relocation of Jewellery & Watch to Hall 1 has proved successful to date.
JWF will further this new vision at Autumn Fair from September 6-9, 2020 at the NEC, Birmingham, followed by Spring Fair from February 7-11, 2021.
This bold move will substitute the previously announced Jewellery & Watch Salon – taking the concept of a stronger jewellery presence at Autumn Fair 2020 and enhancing this to become a destination for traditional jewellery buyers, fashion buyers and accessories buyers.
Jewellery, Watch & Fashion event director, Kirsty Broere, says: “By aligning fashion with jewellery in a more meaningful way we are responding to consumer trends and retailers’ demands. Our research shows fashion stores are buying from high-end jewellery ranges, whilst traditional jewellers are experimenting with high-end fashion accessories and gifting ranges. This blend of buying and desire in the market to try something new has inspired us to combine sectors to become Jewellery, Watch & Fashion.”
JWF will debut in Hall 9 at Autumn Fair 2020. The event welcomes more than 20,000 professionals annually, with around 83% of buyers in attendance actively seeking new suppliers in the strategically important pre-Christmas sales period.
At Spring Fair 2021, JWF will take place in Hall 1 creating a unified presence that will draw visitors entering the main entrance of the NEC, right off the central Piazza.
Jewellery, Watch & Fashion will take place at Autumn Fair from September 6-9, 2020 at the NEC, Birmingham.
