Just Diamonds accepted as approved CMJ Supplier
BIRMINGHAM, July 30, 2018 – Just Diamonds Ltd, a Birmingham-based supplier of certificated diamonds with the aid of unique buying software, has been accepted as an approved supplier to the Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ), the UK’s largest buying group of independent retailers.
“This acceptance means industry recognition for our unique and innovative business model achieved in just two years of trading,” said Dinesh Parekh, director of Just Diamonds.
Approved suppliers to the CMJ are granted privileged access to its network of more than 160 retail members with more than 400 doors across the UK and Ireland.
Just Diamonds’ software allows the customer visiting a brick-and-mortar jewellery shop to choose from a vast range of certified white polished diamonds at highly competitive prices.
Dinesh will be on hand at the CMJ Trade Event at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on August 5-6 to present Just Diamonds’ software to CMJ member independent retailers.
“We already had many CMJ members as customers before we were accepted as a CMJ approved supplier,” Dinesh said.
“They gave us glowing references based on the service and product we served to them.”
The software, bearing the retailers’ logo, can be used on the shop floor in the presence of the retail customer.
The retailer has full control of the margins and the RRP is what the retail customer sees.
“There is full pricing transparency for the retailer and his customer,” Dinesh said.
Most of the diamonds presented to the customer have 3d videos and images.
“The software is easy to use. The important thing is that the salesperson needs to know the basics about diamonds,” Dinesh added.
Just Diamonds offers free training sessions to clients.
The software works on all formats of hardware such as mobile, tablet, laptop or PC, and on OS or Android.
“Customers can choose from at least 100,000 diamonds. It is not unusual to see 200,000. We source from diamonds all over the world — from stock holders, sightholders, polishing houses etc.,” Dinesh said.
“We are very selective about who we deal with and which diamonds are offered on the software.
“We take into consideration many factors such as competitive pricing, honesty of data from suppliers, reliability of suppliers to deliver as agreed, and so on.”
Most diamonds offered by Just Diamonds are certified by GIA. Some stones are certified by IGI and HRD.
Deliveries take between one and eight working days.
