Lazarus Lazaridis appointed Business Development Manager at Domino’s Trade Counter
LONDON, November 22, 2012 – Lazarus Lazaridis or ‘Laz’ – as he is more generally known to his many contacts within London’s jewellery community – has been promoted to ‘Business Development Manager’ at Domino’s Trade Counter in Hatton Garden where he has been working as a sales executive for a little over a year.
Laz, who left school at 16, took up his first position within the jewellery industry with manufacturer Soude. Here he was taught a wide range of jewellery-making skills and has an in-depth understanding of everything from waxing and casting through to polishing and electroplating – a knowledge which he can now share with Domino’s customers.
When Soude collapsed Laz was determined to remain in an industry he had come to love and over the past seventeen years he has held a number of posts in both manufacturing and selling jewellery.
At one stage he was running a busy repair shop and at another, buying jewellery for Roks.
His wide hands-on experience and breadth of knowledge makes Laz ideally placed to assist Domino’s customers in sourcing the best products for their needs and in providing important technical advice.
“The jewellery trade is my whole life. I grew up round here, I live round here and I am well known locally. I am really looking forward to my new job and to bringing Domino’s wide range of components and finished products to the widest possible audience in Hatton Garden and beyond,” he said.
