Long-established Danish jeweller looks for greater variety of diamond cuts
ANTWERP, February 2, 2015 – Long-established Danish jeweller P. HERTZ, visiting Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair (ADTF), is looking for a greater variety of diamond cuts, as well as the established brilliant cuts for its core market.
Berit Hertz at ADTF
Berit Hertz told Jewellery Outlook that brilliant-cut diamonds are at the heart of P.HERTZ’s offering to its loyal customer base, and now the jeweller is looking to expand its range of cuts.
“The Danish retail market for jewellery is more conservative than you would find in many places in Europe,” Berit said.
“Danes are very conservative in terms of cut. We are trying to push other markets now. We are open to the possibility of Asscher, cushion , radiant and more square cuts.”
Berit also said she was looking for champagne diamonds for fashion jewellery.
Located in central Copenhagen, P.HERTZ has been family owned for nearly 200 years.
