VICENZA, May 1, 2020 – Palakiss has announced that the 2020 Spring edition, which was scheduled to take place from 8th to 11th May, has been cancelled due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.
The decision, after a consultation with exhibitors, was inevitable following government measures to combat the spread of the virus.
“Palakiss’s goal is to focus on the health and safety of exhibitors and buyers, Italian and foreign retailers and wholesalers, workers and collaborators,” said Andrea Marcon, CEO of Palakiss Spa.
“This exceptional health emergency has left us no alternative. We decided to cancel this year’s edition, a choice of responsibility.
“We will meet again in Vicenza from 5th to 9th September, on the occasion of the Summer Jewelry Fair, which we hope will be the event that will mark the rebirth of our sector.”
