ISTANBUL, Turkey – A mine in central Anatolia is Turkey’s leading producer of chalcedony which can be transformed into beautiful hues of blue jewellery.

The family of Ilke Ozturk has owned the mining licence for around three decades and sells the rough chalcedony to collectors and jewellery manufacturers around the world.
