William & Son unveils Palazzo rings with exquisite stones

LONDON, May 6, 2012 – Luxury retailer William & Son presents the Palazzo collection – three one-off rings in a classical style, each showcasing a splendid stone surrounded by white diamonds.
One of the Palazzo rings, set in 18-carat rose gold, has a morganite central stone, with pink sapphire under the crown, available for 4,360 pounds.

Another Palazzo ring in 18-carat rose gold has a purple amethyst stone, with rubies under the crown, retailing for 3,730 pounds.
The third ring has an aquamarine stone, with blue sapphire under the crown, for 4,285 pounds.
“These rings have a classical shape. People want a traditional style – long lasting, timeless pieces,” Clemence Merat, William & Son’s Jewellery Buyer, told Jewellery Outlook during a visit to William & Son’s boutique at 10 Mount Street in the upscale Mayfair district of London.
“The colours of the stones, like purple and blue, are attractive in jewellery pieces and appeal to our customers.”
Merat chose the delicate Parisienne diamond tennis bracelets, each with one carat of diamonds, now available to William & Son’s customers.

The bracelets are set in 18-carat white or rose gold and either white or champagne diamonds.
The bracelets in rose or white gold with white diamonds are available for 1,995 pounds each from William & Son. The bracelet in 18-carat rose gold with champagne diamonds retails for 1,595 pounds.
The bracelets, which would go well with a Palazzo ring, can be stacked.
A typical customer of a Parisienne bracelet would be a young woman of, say, 25-30 years, possibly buying the piece for herself, Merat said.
