Italian Jewellery Awards to take place on Nov. 28
November 11, 2009 – The second edition of the Italian Jewellery Awards, promoted by Italy’s Campania region and organised in partnership with Britain’s Spring Fair International/The Jewellery Show, will take place in Naples on November 28.
A prestigious jury of industry leaders will select top Italian brands and designers for the awards which last year went to brands such as Vhernier, Chantecler, Damiani and Dodo, and designers Giancarlo Montebello, Massimiliano Bonoli and Marisa Horden.
The jury in the 2009 awards will be coordinated for the second straight year by Alba Cappellieri, a renowned expert in jewellery design, and will include Riccardo Dalisi, a distinguished architect and designer; Sarah Carpin, Editor of Britain’s Retail Jeweller magazine; Ilaria Danieli, Editor of Vogue Gioiello; and David Metcalfe, Chairman of the British Jewellery Giftware and Finishing Federation.
