London luxury goods store William & Son offers Breguet
Tourbillon Fusee, Breguet
LONDON, July 25, 2010 – Luxury goods store William & Son has become one of just a handful of UK retailers to stock Breguet watches.
The high quality and unique history of Breguet timepieces, which were worn by Napoleon Bonaparte, fit snugly with the distinctive array of luxury products available in the recently refurbished William & Son boutique at 10 Mount Street in the upscale Mayfair district in London.
William & Son has stocked Breguet watches from the Marine and Classique collections for men, and the Reine de Naples line for women, since June, and is seeing strong interest from its international clientele, who range from visitors from Gulf Arab countries to wealthy Russians, and the international banking and hedge fund set.
“The Breguet is a classical looking watch and fits in well with other watch brands that we stock, such as F.P. Journe,” store manager Roy Connor told Jewellery Outlook.
“Breguet is a great brand because of its distinguished history. We like working with companies that are exclusive.”

The design of one of the Breguet watches from the Classique collection, stocked by William & Son, is based on the tachometer in the dashboard of a 1920s Bugatti car, said William & Son’s Mark Blundell.
William & Son also stocks a Tourbillon Fusee from Breguet, one of just three manufactured in the world, and the only one available in the UK, which is available for £113,800.
Most of the Breguet watches stocked at William & Son are in the £10,000-30,000 bracket.
Typical clients seeking a Breguet at William & Son would be in their 30s – perhaps a Middle Eastern tourist spending the summer in London, or a successful career woman purchasing a watch for herself, Connor said.
“People from the Middle East like chunky watches, so a Breguet could be a good choice,” he said.
William & Son stocks a variety of exclusive watch brands, such as F.P. Journe, De Bethune, Charles Oudin, Romain Gauthier, H. Moser & Cie, Audemars Piguet, and Arnold & Son.
