Bulgari posts net profit of 600,000 euros in Q2
ROME, August 1, 2010 – Italian jeweller Bulgari has reported a net profit of 600,000 euros in the second quarter, underscoring a recovery in the luxury market.
Revenue in the six months to June grew 8.2 percent to 443.3 million euros.
The Rome-based company said accessory sales rose 20.7 percent in the six months to June, helped by a new advertising campaign.
The U.S. was the best-performing market for Bulgari in the first half of 2010, with sales up 52.7 percent, and encouraging signs were seen in Europe, the company said.
