Fei Liu hosts jewel exhibition in China
BEIJING, June, 2010 – Jewellery designer Fei Liu played host to the launch of the Paradigma 2 jewellery exhibition at his flagship store in Beijing on May 26.
The exhibition is being presented by the School of Jewellery in the UK and is an opportunity to introduce emerging UK talent to China.
Paradigma 2 showcases pieces from eight lecturers from the School of Jewellery.
Fei Liu, a former student of the School of Jewellery, sees the exhibition as a celebration of modern jewellery from the West.
Fei Liu’s standalone store in Beijing will stage the exhibition for six weeks.
When asked about the event, Fei Liu said, “This show means a lot to me both professionally and personally.
“To give the Chinese people the opportunity to view British design at its best has always been the aim of my shop and as a graduate of the School of Jewellery my design ethos has been greatly shaped by the time I spent there.”
Originally from China, as a British jewellery designer Fei Liu is known for his timeless yet edgy pieces.
