Israeli Diamond Pavilion at December Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fair
Ramat Gan, Israel, December 7, 2011 – With interest in the Indian diamond and jewelry market reaching new heights, the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI) has added the UBM Mumbai Jewellery & Gem Fair to its calendar.
The show will take place from December 9 – 1, 2011 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.
The IDI organized Israel Diamond Pavilion, located at Hall #1, will host 16 Israeli companies: A.G. Diamond Direct, Andre Messika, Avi Paz Group, Dalumi Group, ICS, Julius Klein – Eliaz Diamonds, L & N Diamonds, Leo Schachter Diamonds, Lili Diamonds, Ofer Mizrahi Diamonds, Regent Diamonds, S. Schnitzer Diamonds, Sahar Atid Diamonds, Shlomo Bichachi Diamond and Yakubov Group.
IDI will have an image booth within the pavilion, which will provide buyers with information about the Israeli Diamond Industry and the advantages of doing business with Israel, and will register industry members for the Israeli Diamond Industry Portal site and online database.
IDI Chairman Moti Ganz said that the Israeli Diamond Industry is interested in intensifying its cooperation with the Indian industry.
“We are very aware of the importance of the Indian market and are actively pursuing opportunities to do business together. As the two leading diamond centers, Israel and India can complement each other in both manufacturing and trading,” he said.
IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar said, “We added this show to our trade fair calendar in order to offer industry members an additional opportunity to meet the Indian market. We are optimistic that this show will prove successful for our exhibitors.”
