IDI will have an image booth in the pavilion at IN J 022, 24 to provide information about the Israeli industry and to register buyers for the Israeli Diamond Portal site.
IDI Chairman Moti Ganz said that hopes for the IIJS show were high.
“India is a key market for the global diamond industry and for Israel especially. Our business ties with Indian companies have deepened, and our experience at previous shows there has been quite good,” he said.
“We are optimistic that the show will be a positive opening note to another good year for the Israeli Diamond Industry.”
IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar said the Israeli diamond industry views the diamond sector in India as an important strategic partner.
“IDI is committed to enhancing Israel’s trade connections with the Indian diamond industry,” he said.
“We are currently participating in three important trade shows in India. We are pursuing a targeted advertising and public relations program there and we are planning additional marketing efforts.”
