The Jewellery Show London to take place June 12-13
BIRMINGHAM, February 9, 2012 – A major international trade event The Jewellery Show London, a brand new launch expected to gather 90-100 brands, suppliers and designers, will take place at the iconic Somerset House on the Strand in London on June 12-13, 2012.
“The Jewellery Show London is the pinnacle trade event of London Jewellery Week (11-17 June),” Julie Driscoll, Event Director of The Jewellery Show, told Jewellery Outlook in an interview.
“We want to hear from companies that have a unique collection to present,” Driscoll said.
“It is a transactional, trade event, where buyers and sellers come together to meet, in June, which is a key buying time.”
June is seen as a key time when retailers plan and buy stock for Christmas, Driscoll said.
Those who have confirmed so far include Paul Spurgeon, who has not exhibited in the UK for many years
“He is going to bring his collections to the show,” Driscoll said.
The Jewellery Show London will have an international presence and will feature Italian and French pavilions.
