Kylie Minogue celebrates TOUS store opening in Barcelona
BARCELONA, April 29, 2009 – The international company TOUS has celebrated the
opening of its new flagship jewellery shop located at the Paseo de Gracia, at the heart of Barcelona, with celebrities and Catalan high society.
This new TOUS shop is located in a historic building designed by Josep Lluis Sert, a disciple of Le Corbusier, in 1934.
The shop maintains the original beauty of its interior; a space that will host not only the most exclusive TOUS pieces, but also the brand’s classical collections and its accessories range.

This same area, will also house a new exclusive retail space for the ROLEX watch brand.
Regarding the restoration project of the shop, Salvador Tous, the founding President of TOUS, said: “We want to give the splendour of one of the architectural jewels of the 20th century back to Barcelona. Paseo de Gracia has always had a special meaning to us, because it marks an important point within the history of our brand.”
In fact, the inspiration for the setting of the shop emerges from the glamour of the 1920’s; a decade marked by elegance, good manners and a certain spirit, that set the basis of new cultural and artistic movements at the beginning of the 20th century.

TOUS has chosen Saint George’s day to open its new flagship shop in Spain.
It counted on the presence of Australian singer and actress Kylie Minogue, the face of the brand’s latest ad campaign, to help them celebrate in style.
Kylie wore an impressive diamond heart shaped ring and exclusive hooped earrings, all made by TOUS.
Kylie completed her spectacular look with an elegant silver clutch by TOUS.
