LONDON, September 11, 2009 – Designer Sarah Jordan won Best Platinum Bridal Design at International Jewellery London (IJL) for her flowing organic designs, while B&N walked away with the accolade for Best Platinum Display.
The winners of both categories were announced at a Platinum Guild International (PGI) cocktail party held at the exclusive K-West Hotel in west London on the evening of September 7.
PGI ensured that the presence of platinum jewellery was felt at IJL, through cooperation with exhibitors to highlight platinum product design using elegant and effective points of sale.
The Trail directed visitors to the stands of platinum jewellery designers and manufacturers showcasing stunning new designs and best sellers.

Eight judges also followed the platinum trail to choose the Best Platinum Display and Best Platinum Bridal Design.
Representatives from The CMJ, Beaverbrooks, Wave Jewellery and Catherine Jones all judged stands, with Sarah Carpin of Retail Jeweller and James Courage, CEO of PGI.
“The Trail is a simple yet effective way for exhibitors to highlight the beauty and workmanship of their platinum jewellery offerings, and how this will appeal to consumers,” said Ruth Donaldson, UK Manager at PGI.
