Emap appoints new Editor of Retail Jeweller
LONDON, December 21, 2009 – Emap Inform has announced the appointment of Jenni Middleton as editor in chief of UK trade magazine Retail Jeweller.
Jenni will be a familiar name to readers of Retail Jeweller, having previously edited the magazine between 2003 and 2007.
Under Jenni, Retail Jeweller will refocus on the needs of independent and multiple jewellers across Britain and their suppliers, providing practical and relevant product and business analysis for this dynamic sector at what remains a challenging time for the market.
Jenni is joined by an experienced team of journalists including managing editor Laura McCreddie from sister title Professional Beauty, reporter Sara McCorquodale from Retail Week, and web editor Kate Donovan, who currently works on sister websites Retail Week and Drapers and will focus on building Retail Jeweller’s web presence. An additional journalist to specialise in the jewellery market is also being recruited.
