Sotheby’s sells emerald and diamond Tiara for $12.7 million
GENEVA, May 17, 2011 – Sotheby’s sold an exquisite emerald and diamond Tiara for $12.7 million at a sale in Geneva tonight, above an estimate of $5-10 million. Buyer anonymous.
Sotheby’s also sold an important 10.99-carat pink diamond to jeweller Leviev for $10.8 million (estimate $9-16 million).
