New website showcases Weston Beamor’s services

BIRMINGHAM, England, November 8, 2011 – Weston Beamor, a Birmingham-based precious metal casting house and provider of Bespoke CAD and RP services to jewellery manufacturers, retailers and designer makers, has a new website www.westonbeamor.co.uk.
The site is in line with the rebranding of the company undertaken last summer and features its clean, bold, style and signature bright-yellow house colour.
When it was founded in 1947 Weston Beamor was one of Britain’s first precious metal casting houses and today continues to offer its customers regular casting across a full range of gold alloys as well as in platinum, palladium and silver.

However over the years the company has invested heavily in new technologies and in highly skilled staff and has broadened its remit to provide a full, bespoke, CAD design service;  a rapid prototyping service, and  hallmarking through its own in-house Assay Office operated for it by The Birmingham Assay Office.
Weston Beamor also offers a full finishing and stone setting service for its bespoke CAD customers.
“This website has been designed to show our customers and potential customers just how comprehensive our jewellery making services actually are,” said Weston Beamor director, Yvonne Brookes.
“We wanted a site that is easily accessible, clear and easy to use and which also shows at a glance the varied services we can offer.”
To this end Weston Beamor has also created a short video which can be viewed on the site.  This was shot on its own premises and demonstrates the entire production process from the creation of a design by its CAD designers, through to the production of a rapid prototype resin and the complete lost-wax casting process.
The site also provides a ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ section which Brookes is keen to grow as customers have additional queries to pose.
Also available are full details of Weston Beamor’s newly acquired status as one of the first European jewellery producers to be able to offer the casting and hallmarking of jewellery in Fair Trade and Fair Mined Gold.
“Some of our customers use us for casting, some for bespoke design, others for rapid prototyping and we feel that perhaps not all of them are aware of all the additional services we offer,” said Brookes.
“This website tells the whole story and will hopefully provide visitors with a full picture of the business today.”
