Graff opens its first boutique in Beijing

April 8, 2011 – Graff Diamonds has announced the opening of its first boutique in Beijing, located at The Peninsula Hotel Beijing.

Monte Carlo-based designer Jean-Pierre Gilardino, the prominent designer of several Graff stores including Shanghai, Tokyo, Geneva, and Monte Carlo, drew on inspiration from Art Deco motifs and designers such as Jean Michel Frank and Armand Albert Rateau to create a new concept for the Beijing store.
Details such as oak panels, hand engraved with a gold leaf finish to create a golden and luxurious effect, contrast with dark wood panels in the opulent entrance way, creating a luminous appearance.

Design elements including fan-shaped metal panes, marble floors and ornate chandeliers echo the look of Graff’s other sumptuous Asian stores, while new features including a façade with marble Nero Marquina, a bronze arch with a hidden pattern and the use of elegant woods create a unique and feminine feel.

Graff Diamonds Beijing, located at G12, 8 Goldfish Lane, Wangfujing, The Peninsula Beijing, Beijing 100006, PRC.
