Partnership between Christopher Ward and Morgan Motor Co announced at SalonQP
November 2016 – Christopher Ward announced an agreement with Morgan Motor Company at the launch of the prestigious watches show SalonQP on November 3 to create limited-edition watches for Morgan customers.
Drawing on the passion for design that the British firms share, the watch brand’s eponymous founder told a press conference at SalonQP that he met Morgan’s head of design Jonathan Wells 18 months ago and the idea of the partnership has been worked on since then.
Under a five-year agreement Christopher Ward will create three designs of limited-edition pieces that will be available only to Morgan customers.
At SalonQP three Morgans were on display, including the Aero 8, the first new Morgan design since 1948.
