Platinum in spotlight for Domino at BASELWORLD
BIRMINGHAM, England, March 2, 2013 – Domino returns to BASELWORLD this year with a newly designed and much more prominent stand in Hall 2, Hall of Visions, Stand N34, where the company’s British-designed and made platinum products will be firmly in the spotlight.
Domino believes its platinum jewellery collection, all of which is designed in-house by the company’s prize-winning new product development team in Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter, is amongst the most extensive available from a European producer.
Amongst the ranges on show will be a sneak preview of the company’s Diamond Ring Mount (DRM) collection – due to be launched later in the year. Available in platinum and gold, the range offers a huge choice of solitaire, three stone, five stone and seven stone and eternity rings in both classical and contemporary patterns. These are available in a number of different diamond sizes to give retailers the same look across a range of important price points.
Other popular collections for Basel will be ‘Rosabella’, Domino’s popular, diamond, neck, earrings and wristwear collection and its ‘Sienna’ ring collection which offers luxury ring designs incorporating large feature stones and pave diamond shoulders.
Wedding rings will be another key offering. This range offers plain and diamond-set designs in platinum and a range of gold alloys and here too the emphasis is firmly on providing the widest possible choice. All rings are available across a wide range of profiles, widths, finishes and carat sizes. Of particular interest are some on-trend vintage inspired, diamond-set designs and some new wedding bands for men featuring black sapphires or diamonds.
“We are much looking forward to Basel and to showing our international and British customers the many new designs we have added to our core collections, most especially those in platinum, since last year’s show,” said Domino’s sales and marketing director, Andrew Sollitt.
“We sincerely believe that Domino now offers the most comprehensive selection of platinum findings and ring mounts of any company that will be exhibiting at the show and are proud to be part of what we perceive to be a real renaissance in British jewellery production,” Sollitt added.
“Our jewellery epitomises great British design and manufacturing and BASELWORLD offers us an important opportunity to bring it to the widest possible and most discerning of jewellery audiences.”
