Shailen Mehta, Co-Founder, eJOHRI: Mentioned there has been a shift in consumer purchasing behaviour in the past and this lockdown period has seen high adoption of digital demand across key businesses.

With customers concerned about human-to-human contact and an increased focus on value for money, we will see more discovering online retail, comparing, evaluating and making purchasing decisions.

eJOHRI is an omnichannel platform and hasoptions to try and buy quality jewellery.

We have also seen increased interest from prospective jeweller partners to sell their products online.

Tejpal Ranka, Partner, Ranka Jewellers: Mentioned he does see a shift in buying behaviour, but it will be marginal, in my view.

Demand for regular goods will largely go online.

However, for exquisite jewellery, the experiential environment during the buying process is what excites the buyer.
