In the below interview with Jewellery Outlook Editor David Brough, Event Director Marco Carniello explains VOICE.

Marco Carniello

Marco, what will be the key features and events of VOICE?

VOICE will be the Restart Show. 350 companies will exhibit in a complete new layout in four pavilions of Vicenza Fair (Fiera di Vicenza.) They will present their new products and collections, mostly still unknown to buyers as trade fairs have been cancelled in recent months. Then VOICE will be a global Summit with many voices of protagonists of our industry on the stage. All will be done in our Hall 7 and available via streaming on our website and Facebook account.

What is the purpose of VOICE?

To give voice to our industry: producers, designers, retailers, distributors, everyone.

All professionals in jewellery need an event to restart, an appointment to connect again and push for the restart.

As IEG (Italian Exhibition Group, owner of Vicenzaoro) serves the jewellery industry and its community, we felt the duty to do something and so we have created VOICE.

Will there be opportunities for buyers at VOICE and, if so, how will the trading side of the event work?

Sure. Buyers will meet about 350 companies representing all the supply chain, from technology and gems to brands and jewellery producers. And I am sure VOICE will be full of news as this is the first show after a while for brands and producers.

For visitors it will work in the same way as Vicenzaoro — buyers can register now online and check the exhibitors’ list on our web pages.

How will VOICE be organised in terms of the interaction between digital and physical events?

All events will be available via streaming and exhibitors will have more content available on our online pages. On top of this, buyers not attending physically can meet exhibitors virtually, through our Buyer Virtual Rooms managed by the IEG Team.
