MUMBAI – India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is planning a roadshow in the UK next year aimed at UK retailers and wholesalers that will promote a buyer-seller event due to take place in Jaipur in April 2024.
Plans for the event were discussed during a meeting between senior GJEPC executives and a delegation of UK-based jewellery retailers and wholesalers visiting the IIJS Premiere trade show in Mumbai on August 5, 2023. The state-backed GJEPC promotes exports of Indian-manufactured gemstones and jewellery.
