Royal Asscher to expand retail presence in UK

March 2018 – Royal Asscher, the creators of the original Asscher cut and the family that cut the Cullinan diamond, are looking to expand their retailer network in the UK.
The company are hosting a unique opportunity on March 13th, where they will present their collections, their history and their future.
Shortlisted UK and Irish retailers have been invited to attend the lunch and presentation, which will take place at a location near the Tower of London, where the Crown Jewels have a historic association with the Asscher family.
The Royal Asscher Diamond Company was founded in 1854 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The company is still family owned and operated by the fifth and sixth generation: Edward, Lita and Mike Asscher.
It was Joseph Asscher, second generation of the Asscher family, who cut and polished the Cullinan diamond, the largest diamond in the world, in 1907.
The nine largest stones that came out of the Cullinan mine are now in the Crown Jewels in the Tower of London.
The family are experts in the art of proprietary diamond cutting and beautiful crafted jewellery. Next to their improved and unique Royal Asscher Square Cut, the family have introduced the Royal Asscher Round all set in beautiful, timeless, classic and fresh jewels.
The Asscher family are excited to meet retailers in England.
