LONDON, December 1, 2019 – Selected jewels from the collection of novelist Barbara Taylor Bradford, including pieces by Verdura, Schlumberger and David Morris, will be offered as part of the Bonhams London Jewels sale on December 4.
Barbara Taylor Bradford, celebrating 40 years since the publication of “A Woman of Substance”, told Bonhams annual jewellery lunch on November 29 that her husband, the late movie producer Robert Bradford, had gifted the jewels to her during their 55-year marriage.

“It was Bob who bought the jewellery. Basically he couldn’t walk past a jewellery shop without going in and buying me something,” she said at the lunch.
Highlights include a limited-edition enamel and multi gem-set cuff, by Verdura, 2009 (est. 20,000-30,000 GBP); a diamond-set watch by David Morris (est. 30,000-50,000 GBP), and a fancy coloured diamond and diamond ring (est. 35,000-45,000 GBP.)
