SGL announces Launch of New Mini Diamond Report
LONDON, March 9, 2013 – Solitaire Gemmological Laboratories (SGL) will be announcing the launch of its new Mini Diamond Report at the Company of Master Jewellers’ (CMJ) spring buying meet in Birmingham, England, on March 17-18.
Following market research and feedback from key clients, SGL has developed its new Mini Diamond report which is a scaled down version of the SGL full diamond report, featuring all key 4C information and including a full sketch of the diamond and its proportions.
Alexander Irvine, Marketing Manager at SGL, said, “We are always looking to innovate and bring new products to the market that will help retailers and suppliers improve their sales and which bring confidence and transparency to the diamond buying process.
“The new mini report helps achieve these objectives perfectly in a price sensitive manner.”
Industry leaders have reacted to the upcoming launch of the service with keen interest.
Alex Bassalian of Bass Premier said, “We’ve been using SGL reports and we’re happy to hear about the mini report. Customers are always after more cost effective ways of certifying their diamonds and the SGL mini report achieves this by offering the accuracy of a full report at an even more competitive price point.”
This sentiment was reiterated by Nehal Bhandari, Director at WorldShiner, who said, “The new SGL report enables us to certify an even broader range of diamonds whilst providing greater choice and a more economical option for our retailers.”
SGL will be displaying its new mini diamond reports at the CMJ spring buying event at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, Hall 3 Stand 110.
