The kits consisted of pulses, beans, vegetables, cooking oil, wheat flour, and rice.
Daily essential food items, including an estimated 24,500 kgs of wheat flour, 12,500 kgs of rice, 1,800 ks of sugar, 5,500 kgs of pulses, 7,500 kgs of cooking oil, 2,000 kgs of beans and 1,500 kgs each of potatoes and onions were donated by SRK, the company said in a statement.
SRK facilitated in supplying these items to people’s homes.
The company also helped to arrange meals for the 400-500 staff members of SMC.
In addition, SRK Group aided in providing food packets to people across various cities in partnership with the Corporation.

“We are working on this, and looking forward to extending our support to the government and SMC’s efforts.”
