SINGAPORE, October 3, 2015 – Widely recognised as the largest and most significant fine jewellery event in the region, Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair 2015 will open its doors from 22nd to 25th October at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.

The Southeast Asia’s most important jewellery show will present more than 200 exhibitors representing every gem and jewellery sector in 10 themed and country pavilions.
Counting internationally-acclaimed jewellers from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Singapore and other parts of the world as its exhibitors, the fair will impress visitors with a massive selection of uniquely and excellently crafted jewellery and gemstones.

Diamond Jewellery
For the first time, the Diamond Exchange of Singapore will be hosting a gala dinner on 22nd October 2015 at the Marina Bay Sands in conjunction with Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair 2015.
Entitled “Diamonds in the Rough”, the event celebrates SG50 and comprises a charity auction whereby proceeds will go towards the Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) Children’s Fund.
Another first at the fair is the exclusive SG50 Exhibition featuring Singapore’s heritage in the arts of fine jewellery making, in commemoration of the nation’s Golden Jubilee.
The exhibition will give a rare look at Singapore’s rich and fascinating history in jewellery through a unique showcase of vintage jewellery and rare antiques from the different cultures and ethnic groups dated from as early as the 19th century.

Other Fair Highlights

In collaboration with reputable education partners – the Euromonitor International, Gemological Institute of America Laboratory Bangkok (GIA) and the Jewellery Design and Management International School (JDMIS), the fair will present a series of seminars conducted by a panel of reputable speakers.Touching on topics such as “Fluorescence of Diamonds” and “The Connoisseurs’ Guide to Appreciating Jewellery”, these seminars will leverage on the speakers’ insights and expertise to cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation for jewellery amongst aficionados and new collectors alike.
Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair 2015 will be opened from 11am to 8pm from 22nd to 24th of October 2015 and 11am to 7pm on 25th October 2015.
