Starla gets set to sparkle in Basel

BIRMINGHAM, England, February 13, 2016 – Domino’s Starla Collection, which uses a number of small diamonds cleverly set to create the illusion of one substantial stone, has proved enormously popular with retailers and the buying public since its launch last year and proved a firm favourite with buyers at this year’s Jewellery & Watch Show Birmingham.

To provide even greater choice to consumers seeking the ‘wow factor’ at a highly commercial price, Domino has recently added four more unusual diamond shapes to the current Starla range with marquise, pear, cushion and oval shapes now joining the princess and round-brilliant pieces of the initial collection.
The new designs are presented either as solitaire-style stones or with a halo of smaller diamonds surrounding the central shape.  A range of similarly shaped pendants and earrings is also available and include both solitaire and halo designs.
All items in the range, which includes pieces incorporating similarly-illusion-set blue sapphires and cognac diamonds, are available set in 18ct white, yellow or rose gold. Retail prices range from £500 – £1,000.
“We were absolutely delighted with the response to this highly commercial range from retailers at the show in Birmingham and anticipate a similarly enthusiastic response to it at Basel from our many clients in Europe,” said Domino’s sales and marketing director, Andrew Sollitt.
Another strong story for Domino at Basel will be new additions to its British-made Diamond Ring Mounts collection which has been refreshed for the new season with many slight but important changes being made to some of its most enduringly popular eternity and cluster ring designs.
