BIRMINGHAM, February 9, 2015 – Domino’s ‘Starla Collection,’ which was launched at Jewellery & Watch Birmingham this month, was a huge hit with retailers visiting the show and was the company’s best-selling line at the event.

“Thanks to its clever illusion design and setting, Starla provides all the impact of a 1.5ct ring, with less than half that diamond content, allowing it to be sold at extremely competitive prices; something that is essential in today’s market. We had tremendously positive feedback from current and new customers alike,” said Sales Director, Andrew Sollitt.
The Starla collection, which is produced in 18ct white or yellow gold, includes eight diamond rings, a wedding ring, two pendants and a pair of earrings all of which create the illusion of featuring larger diamonds than they actually do.
The principle has been to target the look of key carat weights from a 0.50ct up to 2.0ct with rings including four claw, six claw, trilogy and halo designs together with the stone set wedding bands which sit perfectly against the two diamond-set shoulder pieces.
The pendants come in a choice of a solitaire and a striking three stone design with complimentary earrings.  These too are available in a choice of sizes.
“This was a really good show for Domino with not just Starla but also a number of other key collections, especially our new wedding ring offer, selling well.
“Our customers were definitely appreciative of the many new designs across all our ranges and were on the lookout for innovative, fresh ideas to sell to their customers this Spring,” Sollitt said.
