StoneHawk provides security training to Hatton Garden jeweller

October 2017 – Heera Diamonds, a Hatton Garden jeweller and insurance client of Primassure, a specialist insurance broker to the jewellery trade, has received training from StoneHawk on how to reduce risks of a smash & grab attack.
Craig Wilson, Business Development & Client Relations Manager Europe, arranged the training session for his client and says:
“We feel that it is imperative that jewellers are proactive in their efforts to reduce the risk of a Smash & Grab attack. This course does just that, teaching you how to prevent, react and respond to an ever increasing threat.”

StoneHawk provides security training to Hatton Garden jeweller Simon Wilson of StoneHawk StoneHawk, is a security training company specifically tailored to the jewellery, watch, pawnbroking, Asian gold and high-end retail sectors.

Available nationally, StoneHawk’s four-hour training is delivered at the client’s showroom or dedicated training location and aims to minimise on business downtime, staff abstraction and travel costs, while being available to everyone.
The training has been designed with the assistance and support from the police, sector-relevant intelligence networks, insurance brokers, and membership associations.
Mahesh Chugani, Director of Heera Diamonds, said: “Simon Wilson and the team at StoneHawk were very professional. Our team learnt a lot from the training. There were different security instances discussed and the staff were really thinking security and have been even more aware of it since.
“StoneHawk covered different scenarios based on their experience and the staff queries which I though was the most important. I would recommend any business especially jewellers to take part.”
The StoneHawk training supports staff and businesses by raising awareness on how to avoid becoming a victim, and if a smash & grab happens, how to react during the incident. Additional focus is also placed on preserving the scene to support the police investigation.
The course is designed to reduce the loss of stock, minimise the risk of injury, address the trauma associated with this crime, minimise on staff abstraction and to reduce business crime nationally.
StoneHawk Limited is the only company delivering this affordable and accessible training across the United Kingdom.
