Strong rebookings for 2014 IJL trade fair
LONDON, September 14, 2013 – “IJL really is the ultimate UK jewellery experience and we were thrilled with the reaction from retailers and buyers to the 2013 show, as well as excellent reports from designers and brands,” said Event Director Sam Willoughby, referring to the latest edition of International Jewellery London earlier this month.
“It was an enjoyable show and importantly, a commercial success for many. As the show closed, we were already over 60% rebooked for the 2014 event!”
Visitors enjoyed a glamorous experience from the minute they arrived, greeted by the tunes of a live acoustic guitar performance and a chic outdoor cafe.
The show was presented beautifully, from the stunning Boulevard to the exclusive Diamond Club Lounge.
The Boulevard Bar, sponsored by Links of London for the first time, was a popular place for networking, relaxing and meeting contacts.
“An exclusive Links of London environment was created within the Boulevard Bar this season, providing a unique and eye-catching arena to showcase our new brand campaign and product. The calibre of brands, attendees and events throughout IJL ensured maximum brand awareness to both customers and media,” said Caroline Blanchard, Wholesale Director at Links of London and Folli Follie.
The show featured over 550 carefully selected brands, designers and manufacturers showcasing their work, including 177 new companies.
Alongside the best in British design, top brands from 33 countries were featured.
