Taché presents “Lesotho Legend” diamond at Baselworld
BASEL, March 26, 2018 – Taché, one of Antwerp’s largest diamond companies, showcased the 910-carat D colour type IIa “Lesotho Legend” diamond at its stand at Baselworld 2018, attracting a strong buzz and social media attention at the show.
The Lesotho Legend, the fifth largest gem-quality diamond ever recovered, was sold at a tender in Antwerp for $40 million on March 12, 2018.
The extraordinary gemstone was recovered by miner Gem Diamonds at the Letseng mine in Lesotho in January 2018.
