The Futurist partners with India’s GJEPC in Design Inspirations Programme
February 2019 – The Futurist, a luxury market intelligence agency led by respected analyst Paola De Luca, is partnering India’s gem and jewellery export arm, the GJEPC, in a Design Inspirations Programme aimed at promoting Indian talent in jewellery design and craftsmanship on the global stage.
The Design Inspirations Programme in Mumbai on February 12 will include a series of workshops and discussions to educate India’s leading talent and develop their skills in the international market place.
A new book, “AATMAN – Inspirations 2020”, edited by The Futurist’s team of international luxury industry analysts, will be launched at a gathering of specially invited VIP industry guests at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai on February 13.
Milan Chokshi, Convener, Promotions, Marketing and Business Development of the GJEPC, said, “’AATMAN – Inspirations 2020’ is the first of several initiatives that have been undertaken by the GJEPC — initiatives that will pave the way forward and build bridges to a new, vibrant and exciting future filled with creativity.”
Paola De Luca said, “India is reclaiming its global stature as a leading pioneer in luxury jewellery design.
“AATMAN – Inspirations 2020” will inspire the new generation of Indian creative leaders, providing a blueprint for key design trends, raising topical issues affecting the diamond industry, and presenting an illustrated history of India’s early prominence in design.”
De Luca added, “Having been a co-founder of the Design Inspirations Programme, I am extremely proud to be associated with this initiative to drive forward Indian design talent on the global stage.”
