The Jewellery Show London reveals 2013 plans
LONDON, March 9, 2013 – The Jewellery Show London, organised by i2i Events Group, will next take place on June 11 – 12 at the beautiful setting of Somerset House on The Strand, one of the City’s most iconic locations and home to London Fashion Week.
This follows on from a phenomenally successful launch event in 2012, which created such a strong impact in both the jewellery trade and exhibition world that the show has been short-listed in the Best Launch Event category in the AEO Excellence Awards for 2013.
The event will showcase the most influential UK jewellery and watch designers, international brands and suppliers within a high-octane setting over the course of two days. For buyers the show offers a perfect environment to view autumn/winter and Christmas 2013 collections, and preview ranges ahead of spring/summer 2014.
New for 2013 will be a dedicated watch area, The Jewellery Show London Watch Salon, to be launched in conjunction with Retail Jeweller magazine. Premier brands including Seiko and B&Q Watches, supplier of pre-owned Rolex and Patek Philippe, are already lined up to exhibit within this exciting new area for the first time.
Also new for this year is Loose Gems, a specialised zone showcasing a breath-taking selection of loose gems, stones and pearls for manufacture, from the best UK and international companies. Di Perle is the latest to sign up for the area.
I2i Events Group, which also produces The Jewellery Show Birmingham and specialist fashion trade event, Pure, is investing in a rich stream of seminar content to support The Jewellery Show London Watch Salon, which will provide top-flight business insight and inspiration to watch retailers.
Throughout the show an impressive line-up of industry experts, including a host of leading retail jewellers, will offer advice on key industry issues and future-trend forecasting across two seminar theatres, one dedicated to jewellery and the other focused on watches to support The Watch Salon.
