Domino to exhibit at Baselworld 2011
BIRMINGHAM, December 18, 2011 – Domino, a UK producer of precious jewellery and jewellery components, has said that it will be exhibiting at the Swiss jewellery show Baselworld next year (24th – 31st March, 2011).
The company, which already serves customers in 12 European countries, has taken its stand J55 in the Hall of Impressions with a view to introducing more international buyers to its comprehensive product ranges and to expanding further its export markets.
“Over the past four years Domino has undergone something of a renaissance,” says the company’s MD, Andrew J Morton.
“We have strengthened our in-house design and new product development capabilities and dramatically expanded our core ranges beyond simply rings. We have also broadened our remit and now offer our customers a number of stylish diamond and gem-set collections, some of which are supplied fully finished. We feel it is time to show Europe and the world just what we can do.”
Domino’s stand at Baselworld will provide buyers with a fresh, new, look at the key product groups that every jewellery retailer needs.
Products on show will include all types of rings, earrings, necklaces and pendants in both classic and more contemporary designs.
The vast majority of pieces, whether supplied fully finished, or ready for setting, are available from stock in many different stone sizes and shapes and in a full range of alloys including all colours and carats of gold and platinum.
Marketing is a particular speciality for Domino and to assist its European retailers to sell through its products.
The company provides a number of attractively illustrated catalogues together with stylish model photography and point-of-sale materials.
It has also invested heavily during the past year in a new user-friendly, business-to-business website (www.dominojewellery.com) where products can be bought on-line ‘twenty four seven’, and customers can track the progress of their orders.
Another huge selling point for Domino is its ‘Creative Suite’, a state-of-the-art showroom at its facility in Birmingham where the company permanently showcases its entire 5000+ piece range.
“Domino’s headquarters are just half an hour’s drive from Birmingham International airport and we hope that having seen just a taster of what we can offer them in Basel, we will be able to tempt European buyers to visit us in the UK and see for themselves just how comprehensive our collection is and what very high levels of support we can offer them,” says Morton.
Domino holds many of its lines in stock and offers same day dispatch on most of its more popular designs. Pieces can be purchased by email, by phone or through its recently revamped business-to-business website www.dominojewellery.co.uk.
