The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will return on March 1-5 under a brand-new EXHIBITION+ hybrid model, presenting a vast array of goods and the latest designs and technologies.

The shows, which are world-class exhibitions of timeless elegance and an annual marketplace for jewellery masterpieces, visionary creations and exceptional quality materials and accessories, will run concurrently at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), while Click2Match, its online smart business matching platform, will operate on March 1-12.

The recent lifting of international travel restrictions in Hong Kong is expected to boost visitors.

The events have published testimonials from exhibitors highlighting the vibrancy of business conducted there.

“We have been a long-time participant in the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and this is an important platform for us to secure a lot of orders every year,” said Carrie Lee, manager of Ferraris Gioielli s.r.l. “We are showcasing our new jewellery collections and creative designs in the Italian pavilion this year.”

Arthur Tang, managing director, Greater China of Just Gold, said: “The Jewellery Show really draws a large number of serious jewellery buyers. The show is a good platform for our brand building.”

Navin Jain, partner with coloured gemstone supplier Shining Star, said: “The Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show is always a perfect place to find new customers. This is the best show for business growth.”

EXHIBITION+ will feature industry seminars, jewellery parades and networking sessions aimed at delivering exceptional insight. It comprises four key exhibition elements, including HKTDC-organised physical fairs; the smart business-matching platform Click2Match; online-to-offline seminars under the Intelligence Hub; and the hktdc.com Sourcing platform.

These features will provide round-the-clock services to boost business promotion for SMEs and offer benefits such as extended fair periods and expanded platforms.

EXHIBITION+ extends face-to-face interactions from physical exhibitions to an online smart business-matching platform to help enterprises connect with business partners proactively.

The HKTDC’s 50 global offices recruit international buyers, while its business-matching specialists match suitable exhibitors according to buyers’ sourcing demands, and arrange online and offline meetings to facilitate business cooperation.

Under the theme of “A Sparkling Feast Crafted in Excellence”, the shows are expected to gather over 2,000 exhibitors from around the world, presenting an assortment of exquisite jewellery and jewellery-making materials.

Group pavilions will include Japan Jewellery Association, Japan Pearl Exporters Association, Singapore Jewellers Association, India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters’ Association, and the Italian Trade Commission.

The Jewellery Show will showcase an extensive selection of fine jewellery under various themed zones. The “Hall of Extraordinary” will display valuable and unique jewellery pieces from top-tier companies, while the “Hall of Fame” will spotlight renowned jewellery brands.

Other featured zones include “World of Glamour”, “Hall of Jade Jewellery”, “Fine Jewellery”, “Finished Jewellery”, “Silver, Titanium & Stainless Steel Jewellery”, “Antique & Vintage Jewellery Galleria”, “Designer Galleria”, “Jewellery Display & Packaging Material”, and “Jewellery Tools & Equipment”.

The Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show will specialise in jewellery raw materials including loose diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones and pearls.

Three special zones include the “Hall of Fine Diamonds”, which will gather the world’s top diamond suppliers; the “Treasures of Nature”, a zone dedicated to the finest coloured gems; and “Treasures of the Ocean”, which will display quality pearls.
