Many of the pieces at the present edition of the show were inspired by Freedom, against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine.

An exhibition of 180 pieces called “Be Free”, curated by jewellery historian and professor Alba Cappellieri, runs alongside the trade event until March 15, presenting the theme of freedom in fashion jewellery.

One highlighted piece in the exhibition, showing the colours of the Ukrainian flag, symbolises the freedom of Ukraine.

Across the trade event, sustainability was another key feature of jewellery designs, such as the sustainable coral pieces from brands including Confuorto and Carola Gioielli.
