Vicenzaoro September, which will take place from September 9-13, 2022, expects exhibitor numbers to be near levels seen before the pandemic.
“The number of exhibitors at Italian Exhibition Group’s (IEG) international show will be close to pre-Covid levels with India and the Far East, Hong Kong, China and Thailand returning to the event and better represented than in March, albeit limited by ongoing restrictions,” the fair said in a statement.
“Business matching will therefore resume on these markets for buyers arriving from all over the world, involved in the incoming programme organised with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ITA, the Italian Trade Agency.”
Vicenzaoro September, staged twice a year, is a one-stop shop for jewellery retail and wholesale buyers from around the world to re-stock the latest designs for the upcoming buying seasons.
One of the highlights of the September show will be the launch of the Trendbook 2024, directed by industry analyst Paola De Luca, for show owner IEG’s independent Trendvision observatory, which will present forthcoming luxury consumer trends, using beautiful illustrations, a vital guide for jewellers wanting to know what will be “hot” in the coming seasons.
Vicenzaoro September will offer the industry a chance to analyse production and market data: Club degli Orafi and Intesa San Paolo’s Study and Research Department will present “The Italian goldsmith sector. A complex and uncertain scenario”, a meeting on the development of national gold and jewellery supply chains, international demand for precious metals, and the effects of international crises and U.S. monetary policy on access to raw materials and their prices.
