Visitor turnout at the May 13-16 edition of Oroarezzo, a trade fair that showcases predominantly “Made in Italy” and private label gold jewellery manufacturing, was up 40 percent year-on-year, organisers said.
The visitors came from 100 countries. Among the geographical areas, 42% were from Europe, followed by the Middle East at 25.5%, the Americas (11.3%), Asia (11%) and Africa (9.1%).
The number of buyers doubled for this edition: 430 from 55 countries, due to collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the work of trade fair owner IEG’s (International Exhibition Group) international network of regional advisors.
