TRADE FAIRS – Buoyant turnout at start of Istanbul Jewelry Show

ISTANBUL, Turkey – Attendance was high at the start of Istanbul Jewelry Show (October 1-4, 2025), auguring for good business for Turkish gold and silver jewellery manufacturers.

Many booths were filled with visiting buyers, many of them from Middle Eastern countries, after the ribbon-cutting inauguration of Turkey’s leading jewellery trade event.

Turkish jewellery suppliers face big challenges due to soaring and volatile gold and silver prices, and a 15 percent tariff to the United States.

Jewellery Outlook Editor David Brough moderated panel discussions about how to use Instagram to boost jewellery businesses, and the future of sustainability in the industry, on the first day of the show.
