Hellmuth returns to Hong Kong fair

VICENZA, September 11, 2011 – Hellmuth, renowned for precious crocodile-inspired designs, will return to the Hong Kong September jewellery and gem fair (Sept. 19-23, 2011) for the first time in 11 years and will showcase predominantly gold designs aimed at Asian buyers from markets such as China and India, its president said.
“I will be exhibiting in the International Premier pavilion. I think this is the right location for us in order to get the audience (market) that we are looking for,” Gert Hellmuth told Jewellery Outlook on the sidelines of the About J luxury jewellery fair near Vicenza.

“We will display there a lot of new merchandise in 18-carat gold. Gold now symbolises pure luxury,” he said.
“It is very easy for people to identify a piece of Hellmuth because of the crocodile signature.”
Hellmuth said that the company was focused on buyers from Asia, notably China and India.
“These will be the future (key) markets. All manufacturers have to keep an eye on these markets. It’s a big potential for European manufacturers.”
