Spotlight on London Jewellery Week 2011

LONDON, January 30, 2011 – A strong lineup of jewellers and sponsors is supporting London Jewellery Week, which will take place from 6-12 June 2011 to showcase Britain’s leading retailers and designers.
Top jewellery designers including Shaun Leane and David Marshall and sponsors including The Bahamas Tourist Board and The Goldsmiths’ Company attended a glitzy party at the prestigious Royal Exchange in the City of London on January 26 to present London Jewellery Week to the media.
“We’re on track for the best London Jewellery Week ever,” Della Tinsley, Managing Director of London Jewellery Week, told 200 glitterati of London’s jewellery scene packed into the splendid interior of the Royal Exchange, which features prominent retailers such as Boodles and Theo Fennell.
Tinsley said sponsors were queuing up to endorse London Jewellery Week and announcements were expected soon.

A selection of jewellers participating in London Jewellery Week exhibited at the event. Jewellers such as Josef Koppmann, Shaun Leane, PureJewels, SWAROVSKI and others from Platform Gallery in Hatton Garden, London’s diamond district, and Treasure, the contemporary jewellery show at the heart of London Jewellery Week, all took part.
Media partners the Evening Standard newspaper and Professional Jeweller magazine were on hand to show their support.
A comprehensive diary of the week and list of Patrons/Ambassadors was released along with details about the cornerstone events: Treasure; The Goldsmiths’ Company Days of Knowledge Seminars; the launch of the Platinum Heritage Collection sponsored by PureJewels, and the annual Hatton Garden Festival.
